Seems like spring in Illinois but we’re still ice fishing here in the Northwoods so don’t be fooled!It does have me itching to get the covers off and get out and drive though.Our event calendar has plenty of reasons to get ready to do just that.
Thank you to the 15 members who completed the event planning survey. You convincingly told us you wanted more social get togethers where we could talk cars and meet one another. If you look at the event calendar you will find lots of chances to visit an interesting spot and gather for lunch. There are the usual driving events and some picnics and car talks in planning as well. Put those dates on your calendar!
The JCNA annual general meeting is being held in North CarolinaMarch 14-17.If you saw the information in the Jaguar Journal you know registration closesFebruary 15.Details hereAGM registration
The All Sports Car swap meet isMarch 24at the DuPage County fairgrounds. We will have an information table there to recruit new members. The club could use some volunteers to help staff the table. If you are attending the meet and would like to help for an hour let us know.
Remember guys, Jaguar parts may not be acceptable Valentines gifts!

North Shore Classic Cars
In January some hardy IJC members braved the aftermath of snowmegeden to visit North Shore Classic Cars.Although there were a number of nice XK8’s the muscle cars of our youth (at least some of us) were the stars. The cars were very nicely presented in a friendly setting. Although I don’t think any were adopted they were certainly a topic during lunch at the Woodfire Tavern.

Get out and enjoy spring with some nature ed and experience followed by lunch with Jaguar friends.
