Starting in St. Charles at 8:00 AM, we will have a 90-minute drive to Zion, IL to visit the museum. Followed by lunch at The Shanty Restaurant in Wadsworth, IL.
The Russell Military Museum is dedicated to educating the public about the conflicts and wars the US has weathered. The museum strives to highlight the many issues facing a country involved in a war. It can be easy to take for granted the magnitude of moving troops and vehicles across the world in a moment‘s notice or the boredom and tension a soldier can feel when all is quiet. It‘s just as easy to underestimate the power of military machinery until you can see it up close.

This drive will take us through 150 miles of Northern Illinois backroads ending in the picturesque town of Woodstock for a private tour of the Opera House, and hour of strolling the sights and shopping of the Town Square. We‘ll have an early dinner in Woodstock at 4:30. We’ll stop at some Illinois State Historical Society markers along the way.

The 2024 Heartland Auto Fest will again be held in the scenic riverfront
in LeClaire, Iowa. The LeClaire levee is located just one block east of
Highway 67. To enter the Auto Fest, turn east on Dodge Street and
follow the signs.
Show Registration and car cleanup 9:00 am to noon
Voting by participants Noon to 2:00 pm
Awards presentation 3:00 pm
“Longest Distance” and Top Twenty” plaques will be awarded. A trophy will be awarded for “Best of Show”.
Entrants must be present to win. If not present, next highest vote count wins. “Longest Distance” is distance
driven in Autofest registered vehicle calculated by GPS from the entrant’s home address to the show site.
All entrants will be entered in door prize drawings. The first fifty entrants will receive dash plaques.
DJ Daniel Stratman will be providing great music mix and show related announcements.
Held once again at the beautiful St. James Farm Park, the IJC Concours d‘Elegance changes date this year to be held in August. Make plans to join us and show off your pride and joy.
Classic Car enthusiasts will gather together again this year in Geneva, Illinois and view a beautiful collection of antique, classic and modern automobiles. Participants from all over the Country will display their prized automobiles on Third street and some will be awarded one of the coveted "Benz" Trophies. Third Street is the heart of Geneva‘s charming downtown shopping district lined with shops, restaurants, parks and historical buildings. This event is open to the public at no cost making this a wonderful family event with something for everyone to enjoy and marvel. The Geneva Concours d’Elegance is your only opportunity in the area to view this fantastic collection of award-winning, unique and rare automobiles.
