Event Details • Date: Last Wednesday of the month • Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM • Location: Avanti Caffé, 1900 S Elmhurst Rd, Mt Prospect, IL • What to Expect: Casual, friendly atmosphere, reminiscent of European walk up deli; delicious food at reasonable prices; and an easy way to connect with fellow club members. The Games will be held on the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton, IL. Best access is from County Farm Rd, between Route 64 and Route 38.

The Chicago Chapter of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club has invited the Jaguar Club to join them for their annual Track Day at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Illinois. BFR is a 1.95-mile private circuit on the grounds of a 216-acre farm located on the Wisconsin-Illinois border. Novices and first timers will receive classroom instruction with some in-car instructors available upon request. Blackhawk Farms has helmets for rent - a balaclava (fire retardant face mask) must be purchased at time of rental. Registration includes 1.5 hours of total track time in five sessions in one of three groups: Novice, Intermediate, Experienced. It is a favorite of SCCA, Midwestern Council, CCS, NESBA, VSCA and other local and national racing organizations.

A few members of the club are planning on going to this event from Friday to Monday. We plan to attend The International Jaguar Festival Dinner on Friday evening, the IJF Concours d’Elegance on Saturday, and stay for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix on Sunday. There are also events starting Thursday, July 16th if you would like to go earlier.

From July 16–18, 2026, the International Jaguar Festival (IJF) will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—embedded within the world-renowned Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) Motorsports Festival, where Jaguar will be celebrated as Marque of the Year. Legendary designer Ian Callum will serve as Grand Marshal. In the words of automotive authority Ramsey Potts: “You need to be here.”

The Illinois Jaguar Club Concours d‘Elegance is being held a the beautiful St James Farm & Nature Preserve, in Warrenville, IL.

A fun British Car show on the Mississippi in the interesting town of LeClaire.

JCNA sanctioned concours

It will involve Prairie School Architecture, Baha‘i Temple, Shiloh House (Zion), Waukegan History Museum, and lunch either in Waukegan or Kenosha.

One of the premier concours in the area. The IJC gathers in car club parking to enjoy the show. You must register with the concours in advance for this opportunity.
