Driving season has begun!I got back last evening from a near 400 mile round trip in the NOTAJAG to attend the Fuelfed Open in Lake Forest.Next is waking up the sleeping cats and preparing for our club trip to The Illinois Railroad Museum.I hope you are doing the same.
This month we welcome new members Marcin Kasprzyk and Jonathon and Lori Roberts.Be sure to welcome them at the next event you attend.
Speaking of attending events, this month it's The Illinois Railroad Museum on the 27th.Next month is the historic I & M canal boat ride on May 17 and thestart of the Champagne British Car Festival on the 30th.Jaguar is the featured marque at the Festival and we want to fill the show field with Jaguars so please plan to attend.

Our next event is a drive to The Illinois Railroad Museum on April 27th.We will take a 40-minute drive along some interesting back roads to the museum in Union, Illinois.
The Illinois Railway Museum has the largest collection of historic railway equipment in America. From horse-drawn streetcars to million-pound steam locomotives, from sleek streamliners to workaday boxcars, there's a LOT to see! The centerpiece of the museum experience is the train ride. On our visit you’ll have the opportunity to tour several large exhibit buildings packed with antique trains.
After our visit to the museum, we will have lunch at Copper Barrel on State in Hampshire.

The Champagne British Car Festival is held on the grounds of the historic David Davis Mansion in Bloomington, IL.The dates are May 30-June 2.There is a drive on Saturday, dinner with a guest speaker from a restoration shop, and then the show on Sunday.It is always a wonderful event with 150+ British Cars.This years featured marque is Jaguar so get yours spiffed up and come to Bloomington.

2025 Member Celebration and Bocce Tournament

Our Member Celebration at Pinstripes was a lot of fun for members new and old.We had a nice gathering with good food that gave us the opportunity to present the club events for 2025.This was followed by an intense bocce tournament with an amazing grand prize.It was a great gathering to kick off the year and unfortunate that so many members missed out.
Thank you Cathy Kakuska and Glenn Barickman for your hard work to make it a success.
